Our History

Trawell India is a firm founded by Dharani Gunasekaran in 2019. It was founded with a vision to take people close to History, Temples, Culture, Nature and make them feel the bliss of our country. It was accomplished this for 3+ years and remains committed to sharing, adapting, and evolving into the most dedicated and impactful professional it can be.

Trawell India has worked on many projects in India and is always ready to take on new challenges. Trawell India believes that there is no limit to what one can achieve if they are willing to put in hard work and determination.

Dharani Gunasekaran

Founder & CEO

He is an avid researcher, cultural tourism and a social entrepreneur. He has completed a course in Iconography curated by the Chola group. With keen interest in the field of Archeology and South Indian cultural history, he did his Masters in Ancient history and Archeology from the University of Madras. He was recognized by the greater Chennai corporation and has been awarded the Seva Ratna award in the year 2019. In the 4th ASEAN SUMMIT conducted by the Central Government he was invited as a delegate to represent India and where he presented about the Cultural & Heritage linkages between South East Asia and India. Anything and everything in the field of South Indian Temple History, Heritage sites, Iconography and Archaeology gets his undivided attention.

Priyanka Rajendra Prasad

Chief Storyteller

Priyankaa Prasad holds a Master's degree in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Madras. She has worked extensively as a storyteller, translating history into engaging narratives that make the past accessible and meaningful. With a growing focus on food history and traditional art forms especially painting, her work is rooted in research, curiosity, and cultural exploration. Priyankaa has a natural ability to connect with children, presenting historical content through stories that spark imagination and understanding. Having completed her schooling and higher education in Mumbai, she later moved to Chennai to deepen her engagement with South Indian history and heritage. Through Trawell India, she brings together research, storytelling, and travel to create experiences that are immersive, educational, and deeply rooted in culture.

Cultural Entrepreneur

Meet Radha Narayanan, Co-Founder and Director of Gurucool Fun. She is an Engineer and Business Graduate by education and a cultural entrepreneur by profession based out of Chennai. She is also a graduate of the Chinmaya Youth Empowerment Program, where youngsters are trained in Indic studies and serve the society for a year through spiritual and cultural outreach programs. Radha is a Bharatanatyam dancer who taught Nritya Yoga in Shanghai, China. She created Gurucool Fun to present ancient Indian wisdom through exciting board games, card games, and school workshops.

Cultural Researcher & Educator in Bharatiya Civilization

Ananth is an engineer and strategy professional working in the areas of organisational excellence, supply chain, and renewable energy in Bharat. He has extensive international experience and has spent several years outside the country, helping turn around acquired companies. Ananth holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an MS from the University of Illinois, and has lived and worked in the United States for over a decade. Beyond his professional work, he is deeply passionate about researching, writing, and teaching Bharatiya history, culture, tradition, and thought. His years abroad ultimately strengthened his conviction that his true place and purpose lie in Bharat.

Sriram Vijayaraghavan is a mechanical engineer-turned-entrepreneur and Managing Director of Hi-Tek Engineering Industries, an automobile ancillary company he founded in 2005, employing over 150 people. He serves as Joint Secretary of Vivekananda Educational Society, which runs 25 CBSE schools educating 40,000+ students. He also leads Acharya Prasikshan under Vidya Bharati, overseeing teacher training and supporting thousands of students through Sanskar Kendras. Passionate about history, he recently completed his Master’s degree and contributed significantly to the RRR history book project. He has deep knowledge of Indian culture and is also an avid lover of classical music.

Cultural Historian

Dr. Ramadevi Sekhar is an academician, researcher, and cultural scholar serving as Director of the Centre for Excellence in Arts and Culture at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, Chennai. She holds a PhD in Sanskrit Literature from the University of Madras and is a National Gurukul Fellow trained under R. Nagaswamy. Her work focuses on Indian culture, Sanskrit literature, archaeology, and civilizational studies. She has produced heritage documentaries, published widely, organized government-funded conferences, and delivered lectures across institutions. Her research and outreach aim to make India’s rich heritage accessible through scholarship, heritage tours, and experiential learning initiatives.

Dr. Sandeep Kumar P holds a PhD in Applied Economics and Business Management and currently serves as the Director of the Centre for South Indian Studies. His areas of interest include the Indian economy, socio-cultural history of India, colonial studies, national security, and cultural studies. He has served as an alternate member of the ICCM under the Ministry of Health, Government of India, and as a member of the National Monitoring Committee for the Education of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Persons with Disabilities, as well as the National Monitoring Committee for Minority Education under the Ministry of HRD. He regularly writes on socio-political issues and participates in television debates on national affairs.
